Cuffio Terms of Use

Last updated 27 September 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Cuffio iOS app. By using Cuffio you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Cuffio is

Cuffio is a personal log for numbers you copy from a home blood-pressure cuff, or optionally import from Apple Health. It does not measure blood pressure, does not diagnose, does not treat, and does not tell you to start, stop, or change medication. It is not an emergency service. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, contact local emergency services.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of numbers you enter, for using a cuff as instructed by its maker or your clinician, and for discussing your readings with a licensed clinician. Reference categories in the app are published ranges, not a personal assessment.

3. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Cuffio on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store terms. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app.

4. Your data

Readings you log belong to you and stay on your device unless you share a file or your device backup copies them. See the Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases

Logging, the chart, reminders, Apple Health import, and CSV export stay free. Your first clean visit PDF is free; it counts as used once you share, save, or print it. Later clean visit PDFs require a Monthly or Lifetime purchase. Without a plan, later previews hide the numbers.

Apple processes payment. We do not receive your full payment card number.

6. No warranty

Cuffio is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it is error-free or that it meets a clinical or legal requirement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions you or a clinician make based on numbers in the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to Cuffio will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if you paid nothing). Some places do not allow these limits; in those places they apply only as far as the law allows.

8. Health data rules

You agree not to use Cuffio to try to obtain Health data you are not allowed to access. We do not use HealthKit data for advertising.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the app or these Terms. The date above will change when we do. We may stop offering Cuffio. You may stop using it at any time by deleting the app.

These Terms do not limit rights you have that cannot be waived under the consumer laws that apply to you.
